Microsoft Office is now a free download from the App Store. With the free versions of the apps, you can read your Word documents, view your Excel data and present with PowerPoint. If you want to edit and create new documents with the iPad, you must get Office 365 subscription.. When you edit a document, you can be sure that content and formatting will be maintained across Office on PC, Mac, tablet and phone. And, you always have access to your up-to-date documents in OneDrive and OneDrive for Business.
Actually, there have previously been other numerous ways to access Office and Office-like services on the iPad. One of our favorites was the release of OnLive Desktop in 2012, which was a free virtualized version of Windows 7 that included Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint already installed. It didn't take long for that service to shut down, as is to expected for anyone violating Microsoft's terms of service, but now we have iPad Office, here are the features to look forward to when it comes to that news.
Just like Office Mobile for Windows Phone, we are making Office Mobile for iPhone and Android phones free for everyone. With Office Mobile, you have the ability to view and edit your Office content on the go. Office Mobile is available in the App Store and Google Play.
Office documents look just as they do on your PC or Mac. No matter you use Word, Excel or PowerPoint, it can enable you to enjoy very. Moreover, while doing a PowerPoint presentation on the iPad, touch and laser pointer will appear for that crucial stage-like performance ambiance.
If you use Office on a PC or Mac, the iPad apps feel very familiar, so you are comfortable and confident using these apps right away.
The apps let you access up-to-date documents in OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint. It's easy to pick up from where you left off, because the apps know what documents you were working on last, no matter what device you were using.
1. It's free. Office 365 runs on the iPad.
With all the information of these new features and tips, you can be confident to use Office 365 on the iPad after Microsoft Office finally arrives.
