Recently, some rumors have suggested that Microsoft is considering including boot-to-desktop option for start screen hater instead of to the Start screen in the upcoming Windows 8.1. And the boot-to-desktop option is "now looking like the plan," according to one of Foley's sources, while the Start menu's resurrection is reportedly being considered.

If the rumors finally are proved to be real, it can be good news for Windows 8 users as one of the biggest complaints about Windows 8 since its launch last October is how the Operation system pushes you to use the Start screen. Many PC users simply want to use the desktop. The ability to boot to the desktop and bypass the Start screen entirely will likely be included in Windows 8.1 a.k.a. Windows Blue.

Even the rumors may not be really, it at least convincing than the boot-to-desktop option because the Start screen is so important for touch-enabled devices. People are all used to using boot-to-desktop option for start screen hater in Windows 7/XP/Vista and even the previous version of Windows operation systems.
